I-MED Radiology in Tasmania is offering an MRI Training Position to develop your MRI skills across our Northwest Tasmania clinics, commencing in 2026. You must be an AHPRA registered Radiographer and will gain hands-on imaging experience across Burnie and Devonport.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on patient-centered care and ongoing professional development, while contributing to a collaborative, high-quality imaging service.

Qualifications

• Must be an AHPRA registered Radiographer.
• Structured MRI training pathway across clinics.
• Hands-on imaging experience across sites Burnie and Devonport.
• Foundation in radiography with patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured MRI training program.
• Perform Radiography procedures while progressing toward MRI competency.
• Deliver high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, Technologists and clinic teams.
• Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Maintain equipment care, QA, and safety protocols.
• Build relationships with patients, referrers and colleagues.
