Job summary

Lumus Imaging is offering an exciting full-time opportunity at the Northern Private Hospital to join as an MRI radiographer trainee. You will undertake an extensive MRI training program with the goal of scanning autonomously as a qualified MRI technician within 6 months, while rotating through general X-ray, CT, theatre, Cath Lab, and vascular procedures.

You will work across hospital, community, and medical centre sites, with hours spanning 7am–9pm and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Clinical CT and X-ray experience with cross-sectional knowledge.
• Commitment to complete MRI training and achieve Level 1 AIR MRI qualification
• High imaging quality and patient care standards
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Flexibility to cover shifts and on-call
• University or equivalent in Medical Imaging Technology
• Current AHPRA Registration and Vic radiation license
• Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provide imaging services across modalities as required.
• Rotate through MRI, CT, X-ray, theatre and Cath Lab under supervision.
