Job summary

Lumus Imaging in Dubbo is seeking a Radiographer to progressively upskill into MRI with structured, paid training. You’ll perform MRI and general radiography, deliver compassionate patient care, and work closely with radiologists and colleagues in a regional clinic.

Based at our Dubbo clinic, you’ll benefit from mentoring, a supportive team, and a clear pathway to MRI competency within a nationwide imaging network.

Qualifications

• University qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
• Current NSW radiation licence or eligibility to obtain one.
• MRI experience welcomed but not essential; willing to train into MRI.
• Current driver's licence and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations to a high clinical standard with mentoring as you build competence.
• Undertake general X-ray and support other modalities as needed.
• Deliver compassionate patient care at every step.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety and quality protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists, sonographers and support staff to keep the clinic running smoothly.

About the role

Based at our Dubbo clinic, you'll deliver high-quality MRI examinations (with full training provided if you're upskilling) alongside general radiography duties. Your day will include:

• Performing MRI examinations to a high clinical standard, with support and mentoring as you build competency
• Undertaking general X-ray and supporting other modalities as needed
• Delivering exceptional, compassionate patient care at every step
• Maintaining accurate records and following safety and quality protocols
• Working collaboratively with radiologists, sonographers and support staff to keep the clinic running smoothly

About you

• University qualifications (or equivalent) in Medical Imaging Technology
• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
• Current NSW radiation licence (or eligibility to obtain one)
• MRI experience is welcome but not essential; Radiographers ready to train into MRI are strongly encouraged to apply
• A genuine commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service
• An understanding of relevant WHS practices
• A current driver's licence
