Visy is seeking a Site Manager for the Smithfield Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in NSW. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive safety, financial performance and operational outcomes, and collaborate with councils, contractors and customers to achieve strong site performance.

The role emphasizes EBITDA, productivity and resource recovery, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement across a fast-paced heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, recycling or heavy industry.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing site performance and costs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and drive operational outcomes.
• Experience driving safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, ensuring full compliance with WHS, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Deliver EBITDA targets through strong cost control, productivity and plant performance.
• Drive operational excellence across throughput, yield and quality outcomes.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, developing capability and accountability.
• Optimise labour, maintenance and contractor performance across the site.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and capital initiatives.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strong customer outcomes.
• Use data and insights to improve operational performance and decision-making.
