KNR Glohe Transport Pty Ltd in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a reliable driver to join our small family-owned delivery team. The role starts early, with a 6.30am dispatch from Eastern Creek, delivering hospital supplies to hospitals across the Southwest Sydney district.

You will operate a hydraulic tail gate, hand unload or use a trolley jack, and follow a run sheet to locate pallets. The position is initially casual for 6 months with a possible permanent arrangement for the right person.

Qualifications

• MR Licence holder with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a 10-pallet curtainsider.
• Physically fit for hand unload or using a trolley jack.
• Organisation and map-reading are essential.
• Attention to loading accuracy and timely delivery.
• Polite, courteous, and able to manage time effectively.
• Set run from Monday to Friday; casual for 6 months with potential permanency.

The position requires a 6.30am start at Eastern Creek, delivering hospital supplies to several Hospitals across the Southwest Sydney district. Finish time will vary depending on traffic and delivery size - generally between 1.30pm and 3.00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hospital supplies to several Hospitals across the Southwest Sydney district
• Operate hydraulic tail gate
• Hand unload or use trolley jack for most loads
• Use a run sheet to locate pallets for delivery
• Ensure loading of correct items in timely manner
• Maintain polite and courteous manner with clients

About you

• MR Licence
• Good Driving Record
• Able to drive 10 pallet curtainsider and operate hydraulic tail gate
• Physically fit as most loads will be either hand unload or trolley jack
• Organisation skills - use a run sheet to locate pallets for delivery
• Attention to detail - loading correct items in timely manner essential to the day to day running of facilities
• Polite and courteous manner
• Good time management
• Able to read and understand maps and road signage
• Set run - Monday to Friday
• Job is initially casual for first 6 months with option for the right person to go Permanent
• Additional hours - depending on work availability
• Training will be provided for all aspects of the position until such time as the driver feels competent
