Job summary

Multigate Medical Products in Smithfield NSW is seeking a Transport Fleet Driver to join the team. The role reports to the Transport and Fleet Manager and involves safely transporting goods between locations. The shift is 6am to 2pm, with flexible hours.

You will operate vehicles, load and unload, keep records, conduct safety checks, and communicate with customers to ensure smooth deliveries. Forklift licence and a valid MR/HR licence are required, with a willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Current MR or HR driver’s licence and LF forklift licence required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multidrop deliveries.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Lift and move heavy objects up to 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of vehicles, following all road rules.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secure during transport.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel and expenses.
• Conduct regular safety checks, reporting any issues to management.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Plan delivery routes and schedules to ensure reliable, organised deliveries.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
