Job summary

Programmed GO in Avalon, VIC is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to manage freight in a fast-paced environment. You will sort, pack, and secure freight, load parcels onto conveyors, and operate manual pallet jacks while using RF scanners to track consignments.

The role requires safety focus, the ability to perform repetitive manual handling up to 20kg, and willingness to pass a police check and drug/alcohol testing in line with industry standards.

Qualifications

• MR license required for freight handling.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg consistently and perform repetitive manual handling.
• Must pass police check conducted within the last 12 months and be able to undertake drug and alcohol testing.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and strong work ethic.

Job description

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of freight within a fast-paced warehouse environment with MR license required.

Key duties include manually sorting freight, loading parcels onto conveyor systems, packing and securing ULD cages, operating manual pallet jacks, and utilizing RF scanners to accurately track and process consignments.

The role requires a strong commitment to workplace health and safety, the ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks and lift up to 20kg consistently, while remaining on your feet throughout the shift.

Candidates must demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to undertake physically demanding work. A current police check obtained within the last 12 months and the ability to successfully undergo drug and alcohol testing are required to ensure compliance with workplace and industry standards
