Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group seeks an MR driver to support a high-volume catering operation, delivering equipment and in-flight supplies to aircraft. You will operate MR/HR vehicles and assist with loading on to trucks.

The role requires a valid MR/HR licence, flexible rosters (2am–10pm), and completion of airside driving training. Opportunities exist to move to permanent roles within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted MR or HR driver's license.
• Flexible to work a rotating roster including day, afternoon & night shifts.
• Start times from 2am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday.
• Current Working at Heights certificate or ability to obtain.
• Ability to attain ASIC card and pass Air Side Driving Course.
• Able to pass a Police Check and Medical.
• Clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR/HR vehicles.
• Load and unload galley equipment from truck.
• Perform general warehouse duties.
• Transport equipment across the tarmac to aircraft.
• Load catering equipment onto aircraft safely and efficiently.
• Complete airside driving training (provided).

Are you an MR driver looking for a change of pace and a fresh new environment? Our client is high volume catering business supplying to many of the globes major Airlines!

As part of the operations team, you will play a key role in delivering catering equipment and in-flight food supplies directly to aircraft.

About the Role

• Operating MR/HR vehicles
• Loading and unloading of galley equipment on to a truck
• General Warehouse duties
• Transporting equipment across the tarmac to aircraft
• Loading catering equipment onto aircraft safely and efficiently
• Completing airside driving training (provided)

To be successful in this position you must have:

• A valid and unrestricted MR or HR Drivers License
• The flexibility to work a rotating roster. Day, Afternoon & Night Shift
• Start times from 2am to 10pm, across Monday- Sunday
• Current working at Heights Certificate or ability to obtain
• Ability to attain an ASIC card and pass Air Side Driving Course
• Able to pass a Police Check and Medical
• Clear Driving Record
