Job summary

Impact Drill & Blast is seeking an experienced MPU Operator to support rapid growth in South Queensland, based in Toowoomba or Brisbane with regular travel. You will deliver bulk emulsion services and operate MPUs safely, following established procedures and maintaining records.

Essential: HC Driver's Licence, explosives driver’s licence, National Police Clearance and DG Card, plus 12 months+ MPU experience and commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• 12 months or more experience as an MPU Operator.
• Based in Toowoomba or Brisbane.
• Ability to travel for work.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate MPUs safely and in line with procedures.
• Perform timely maintenance with documentation.
• Complete all transport, delivery and QA records.
• Account for all materials loaded and dispensed.
• Ensure delivery of all products to sites.
• Undertake tasks as assigned by Operations Supervisor.

About the role

As we continue our rapid expansion within the industry, our Operational Team in South Queensland is seeking experienced MPU (Mobile Processing Unit) Operators. This role involves the timely delivery of bulk emulsion services and related tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Based out of our Toowoomba or Brisbane area, with regular travel requirements, this opportunity presents a pivotal role within our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and safe operation of MPU's in strict adherence to established procedures and manuals.
• Conduct timely maintenance with thorough documentation.
• Accurately complete all transportation, delivery, and quality control documentation.
• Account meticulously for all raw materials loaded into MPUs and dispensed at customer sites.
• Ensure prompt and complete delivery of all products.
• Undertake general tasks as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Desirable: 12 months or more experience as an MPU Operator.
• Based in Toowomba or Brisbane
• Minimum requirement: HC Driver's Licence.
• National Police Clearance and Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Explosives Driver's Licence.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to travel for work.
