Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced Moxy Operators to join a leading civil and earthmoving contractor in Logan. The role offers $41 per hour + penalties, with 6 months of continuous work and overtime opportunities, plus a pathway to further project work.

Immediate starts available for suitable candidates. Applicants should hold a current RII ticket for Moxy, possess at least two years’ experience on civil/earthmoving sites, and have a White Card.

Qualifications

• Current RII ticket to operate Moxy (Articulated Haul Trucks).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Moxys on civil/earthmoving projects.
• White Card (Construction Induction) as a baseline qualification.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow directions.
• Additional plant tickets (e.g., Excavator, Dozer, Roller) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of Moxys on civil earthmoving sites.
• Hauling bulk materials, navigating haul roads, and precise tipping.
• Coordinate with excavator operators, supervisors and ground crews.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and routine machine maintenance.
• Assist with general site tasks when required.

Requirements

• Current RII ticket to operate Articulated Haul Trucks (Moxy)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Moxys on civil/earthmoving projects
• Previous experience in subdivision, roadworks, or bulk earthworks highly regarded
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow directions
• Additional plant tickets (e.g., Excavator, Dozer, Roller) highly advantageous

Key Duties

• Safe and efficient operation of Moxys (Articulated Dump Trucks) on civil earthmoving sites
• Hauling bulk materials, safely navigating haul roads, and accurate tipping in designated areas
• Working closely with excavator operators, supervisors, and ground crews
• Completing daily pre-start checks and routine machine maintenance
• Assisting with general site tasks when required
