Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a Mower Operator to undertake routine maintenance in parks, reserves and selected roadsides, with duties across Knox municipality and Port Phillip. This role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work, pays attention to detail and takes pride in delivering quality grounds maintenance.

You will operate ride-on and zero-turn mowers, handle weed control tasks, and ensure precise recording of works completed, while prioritising safety and efficiency in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) Licence.
• Ride on Mower experience essential.
• Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment.
• Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check.

• Work based around City of Port Phillip
• Depot based in Port Melbourne
