Job summary

Glencore Mount Isa Mines seeks an experienced Supervisor - Isa Surface Fleet to lead a mobile fleet and crew on site in Mount Isa. You’ll oversee haul trucks, loaders and related equipment, balance production priorities with safety, and coordinate with maintenance for equipment availability.

The role is residential in Mount Isa, with a 4-on, 4-off rotating roster. You will report to the Isa Surface Fleet Superintendent and drive safe production with strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with haul trucks and loaders on a mine site.
• Proven track record leading an operational crew.
• Practical understanding of mobile equipment operations and safety.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem solving.
• Commitment to safe production and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of up to 15 with safety and production expectations.
• Plan and coordinate operators and equipment to meet priorities.
• Oversee bulk materials handling including stockpile movements and slag handling.
• Maintain safe operating standards around mobile equipment and site users.
• Coordinate equipment servicing with workshop supervisors.
• Manage day-to-day personnel matters and crew performance.
• Liaise with other departments and contractors for production and safety delivery.
• Complete shift reporting and data capture.
