Job summary

Australia Post Group is seeking a Motorcycle Delivery Driver in Hobart to start early each day, prepare mail and parcels at the Western Shore Delivery Centre, and complete safe, reliable deliveries to homes and businesses.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, load deliveries carefully, and be supported by Rider Mentors to build confidence and skills for long‑term success. The role runs Monday–Friday with starts at 6:30am and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass riding assessments and meet safety standards (≤100 Kg).
• Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16 kg.
• Interested in long‑term delivery or mentoring opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Begin each day early as part of a delivery team, preparing mail and small parcels at the facility before delivering to homes and businesses.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and load deliveries with care.
• Carry out reliable deliveries with safety and consistency.
• Work Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours as needed.
