Job summary

Australia Post in Penrith invites applicants for a Motorcycle Delivery Driver role. You’ll start at the Nepean Delivery facility each morning, then deliver mail and small parcels to homes and businesses with care, while following safety standards and vehicle checks.

This permanent full-time position includes mentoring from experienced Rider Mentors, opportunities for growth, and a supportive team culture that values safety, wellbeing, and community service on every run.

Qualifications

About the opportunity

In this role, you’ll begin each day early as part of a supportive delivery team, preparing mail and small parcels at the facility before heading out to deliver to homes and businesses. You’ll complete daily vehicle safety checks, load your deliveries with care, and carry out reliable deliveries, with safety and consistency guiding every step.

You’ll be supported by experienced Rider Mentors who provide hands‑on guidance and coaching, helping you build confidence, capability and consistency in the role. This opportunity suits someone who takes pride in delivering strong outcomes, values teamwork and safety, and is motivated to perform at their best every day while building skills for long‑term success.

About you

• Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards (weighing 100Kg or less)
• Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles.
