Job summary

Australia Post Group in Victoria is seeking a Motorcycle Delivery Driver for a 12-month fixed-term, part-time role (Monday to Friday, 6:00am–11:00am, 25 hours per week). You’ll start at the Research Delivery Centre, prepare mail and small parcels, then deliver to homes and businesses with safety and reliability guiding every step.

You’ll be supported by Rider Mentors, receive hands-on coaching, and have opportunities for growth within transport or other areas of the business, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary forklift licence.
• Must hold a motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass riding assessments and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and small parcels to homes/businesses.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and load deliveries with care.
• Provide reliable, safe deliveries with safety and consistency.
• Receive hands‑on guidance from Rider Mentors and grow in the role.

Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 11:00am

About the opportunity

In this role, you’ll begin each day early as part of a supportive delivery team, preparing mail and small parcels at the facility before heading out to deliver to homes and businesses. You’ll complete daily vehicle safety checks, load your deliveries with care, and carry out reliable deliveries, with safety and consistency guiding every step.

You’ll be supported by experienced Rider Mentors who provide hands‑on guidance and coaching, helping you build confidence, capability and consistency in the role. This opportunity suits someone who takes pride in delivering strong outcomes, values teamwork and safety, and is motivated to perform at their best every day while building skills for long‑term success.

About you

• Hold a full or probationary forklift licence and motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards (weighing 100Kg or less)
• Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles.
