Australia Post in Cairns is seeking a Motorcycle Delivery Driver to start each day at the Delivery Centre, preparing mail and parcels before heading out to deliver to homes and businesses. You will complete daily vehicle safety checks, carry out reliable deliveries, and work with Rider Mentors who provide hands-on guidance to help you grow.

This permanent full-time role offers a supportive team, safety-focused culture, and opportunities to advance into mentoring or senior delivery paths.

Competenze

• Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards (weighing 100Kg or less).
• Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.

About the opportunity

In this role, you'll begin each day early as part of a supportive delivery team, preparing mail and small parcels at the facility before heading out to deliver to homes and businesses. You'll complete daily vehicle safety checks, load your deliveries with care, and carry out reliable deliveries, with safety and consistency guiding every step.

You'll be supported by experienced Rider Mentors who provide hands-on guidance and coaching, helping you build confidence, capability and consistency in the role. This opportunity suits someone who takes pride in delivering strong outcomes, values teamwork and safety, and is motivated to perform at their best every day while building skills for long-term success.
