Job summary

Campsie Service Centre in Sydney, NSW is seeking a motivated Mechanic to join our team in a full-time, hands-on role. You will service and repair a wide range of vehicles and help maintain our 40+ year legacy, delivering confidence and peace of mind to customers.

You will diagnose vehicles, perform servicing, liaise with customers, and train apprentices while upholding high safety and quality standards in a supportive workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic.
• Automotive trade qualification and certificates.
• Experience training apprentices (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle diagnostics, servicing, testing and mechanical repairs
• Perform schedule maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and more
• Dismantling and assembling to test and check components and parts
• Road testing vehicles to ensure the quality of repairs
• Completing service documentation and digital job cards
• Communicating with customers to explain issues and proposed solutions
• Working with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards
• Following safety protocols and company procedures
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment

Campsie Service Centre is seeking a motivated Mechanic to join our team.

Are you looking for a role to share your knowledge and help train the next generation of Mechanics?

We’re on the lookout for a motivated person to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a full-time, hands‑on role where you’ll work with experienced automotive team across all types of vehicles helping our customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind and maintain our 40+year legacy in the industry.

As a full-time Mechanic, you will play a vital role in servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind.

What you’ll be doing

• Conducting vehicle diagnostics, servicing, testing and mechanical repairs
• Performing schedule maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and more
• Dismantling and assembling to test and check components and parts
• Road testing vehicles to ensure the quality of repairs
• Accurately completing service documentation and digital job cards
• Communicating with customers to explain issues and proposed solutions
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards
• Following all safety protocols and company procedures
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment

What we’re looking for

• At least 3 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
• Automotive trade qualification and certificates
• Experience managing and training apprentices (Advantageous)
• Current valid Driver’s License and tradesperson’s licence
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations
• Available to work on Saturdays
