Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking a capable Motor Mechanic in New South Wales to demonstrate hands-on experience, sound technical knowledge and a commitment to quality workmanship.

You will join an established workshop environment where practical skills, consistency and customer service are valued; overseas-qualified candidates can have qualifications assessed with visa sponsorship available for suitable applicants.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in Automotive Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant practical experience as a Motor Mechanic.
• Demonstrated experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using computerised vehicle diagnostic equipment.
• Good understanding of modern automotive mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical faults across engines, transmissions, steering and other vehicle systems.
• Inspect engines and mechanical components to identify faults, damage and wear.
• Remove, dismantle and inspect mechanical assemblies as required.
• Repair, replace and rebuild defective or worn vehicle components.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Perform oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups and other routine servicing tasks.
• Test repaired vehicles and components to confirm safe and reliable operation.
