Job summary

JAX Tyres & Auto Biggera Waters is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. You will work with customers on vehicle servicing, repairs, tyre fitting and wheel alignments, delivering quality service with a friendly, hands-on approach.

We value safety, attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude. The role is a full-time, permanent position with an above-award salary and opportunities to grow within a well-established national brand.

Qualifications

• MUST be a qualified Motor Mechanic with a minimum of 3 year Tyre Fitting and Wheel Alignment Experience.
• Hold trade qualification in mechanical technology; Current driver's license.
• Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a positive 'Can do Attitude' and WHS knowledge.
• Available to work Saturday (Rotating Roster); MUST have a current Australian driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles; General and logbook servicing.
• Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear; Fitting, rotating and servicing tyres; Wheel alignments.
• Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles; Safely operating hoists; Conducting road tests as required.

Your Day-to-Day Duties Include

About you
