About The Role

Motel Receptionist - Glenmore Tavern (Part time 15-20 hours a week)

Are you a people person with a flair for organisation and a knack for making guests feel welcome? Glenmore Tavern, a cornerstone of our community, is looking for a friendly and efficient Motel Receptionist to be the face of our accommodation services!

As our Motel Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for all our motel guests. This role is crucial to ensuring a smooth, pleasant, and memorable stay. You'll manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, handle inquiries, and provide local information with a smile.

A Day In The Life
  • Manage the full guest cycle from booking to departure.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally.
  • Process payments and manage the till/POS system accurately.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other tavern staff to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist in general administrative tasks as required.
About You
  • You provide outstanding customer service with enquiries via phone, email and face to face.
  • You understand the importance of privacy & confidentiality with sensitive information
  • You maintain the administration area in a well organised and professional manner at all times
  • You support the Venue team with service on the floor during peak times of trade
  • You attend and contribute your insights in team meetings
