Job summary

Coronis Mortgage & Finance in Brisbane seeks a Mortgage Broker Associate to support an established broker team. You’ll educate clients on services, qualify opportunities, and schedule appointments as you progress toward Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Finance accreditation.

You will receive comprehensive training from leadership, with the aim of becoming a fully accredited mortgage broker while building lasting client relationships.

• Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking (or willing to obtain).
• FBAA/MFAA Current Member (or willing to join).

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to existing clients, clients who have attended real estate open home inspections, and landlord clients.
• Introduce our mortgage broking services, explain how we can assist with their mortgage needs, and generate appointments for our experienced mortgage broker team.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system and ensure all client details are up to date.
• Actively engage in studying for the Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Finance, working towards gaining full accreditation as a mortgage broker.
• Participate in regular training and mentoring sessions with the General Manager to develop key skills and industry knowledge.
• Work closely with the existing mortgage broker team to help generate business and increase the client pipeline.
• Support the team in the delivery of exceptional service to clients, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to mortgage approval.
• Complete the necessary steps to become accredited with banks and lenders.
• Stay informed about industry trends, mortgage products, and regulations to better assist clients and contribute to business development.
