Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA) qualified educator.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Child Protection Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of NQF, National Quality Standards (NQS) and EYLF.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passionate about implementing Montessori early learning programs.
• Committed to the holistic development of children.
• Strong understanding of the importance of family communications.

Responsibilities

• Work as an active team member to provide high-quality education.
• Develop strong relationships with children at the service.
• Create and implement the Children's Program, reflecting EYLF guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S policies, maintaining a safe environment for staff and children, with attention to those with special health needs.
• Keep accurate records of accidents, incidents, injuries, illnesses, and medication.
• Implement the service's philosophy in all duties.
• Liaise with families regarding daily activities and updates.
• Maintain detailed observations and records of individual children's progress.
