Job summary

Montessori Milestones Westmead seeks a Centre Director & Nominated Supervisor to lead a 154-place service. You will oversee regulatory compliance, people leadership, child safety and educational quality, reporting to the Approved Provider with autonomy and accountability.

The role includes rostering, performance management, and driving sustainable commercial performance while maintaining a strong focus on family experience and Montessori principles.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved qualification and eligibility to act as Nominated Supervisor.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Centre Director in early childhood.
• Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS and related legislation.
• Demonstrated leadership of sizeable early learning teams.
• Understanding of rostering, ratios and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide confident, visible leadership across the service.
• Oversee day-to-day operation and regulatory readiness.
• Lead the 2IC, Educational Leader, Room Leaders and staff.
• Maintain compliance with safety, records and policies.
• Drive educational quality and Montessori practice.
• Support families, enrolments and community relations.
• Monitor occupancy, budgeting and sustainable performance.
