Job summary

G4S Australia and New Zealand is hiring Mobile Speed Camera Operators to work solo in enforcement vehicles connected to a control centre. You will perform risk assessments, take site photos before each session and coordinate with the control room to align and test cameras.

The role involves working rotating rosters including weekdays, nights and weekends, with long shifts in regional and remote areas. A full driver’s licence, a clean driving record, and the ability to sit for long periods are

Qualifications

• Must have a full driver's licence and a clean driving record.
• Comfortable sitting for long periods in an enforcement vehicle.
• Able to work alone for extended shifts (10–12 hours).
• Willingness to drive long distances in regional/remote areas.
• Available for a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform a risk assessment and take photos of each site prior to every session.
• Communicate with the control room to align and test cameras.
• Respond to angry and aggressive behaviour while on duty.
• Work rotating rosters that include weekdays, nights and weekends.
