Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Mobile Lending Manager in Cairns to help customers realise the dream of home ownership. As a central face of the branch, you’ll guide new and existing customers through the home loan process and identify the right lending solutions for their goals.

You’ll leverage your lending knowledge, build strong relationships in the local community, and deliver outstanding service that supports Westpac’s position as the bank of choice for life.

What's the role?

As a Mobile Lending Manager, you will assist Westpac customers with their dream of owning their own home. You'll be one of the friendly faces of our branch for both new and existing customers to meet when it's time to apply for a home loan (or even before then!).

Using your solid understanding of mortgage products and services and the local market, you'll build great relationships with our customers. Service will become second nature to you, as you meet with customers to find out what their financial needs are today – and what goals they have for tomorrow. And then match them up with the financial products that will bring them closer to making those goals a reality.

What do I need?

Experience with lending is essential for your success. Representing the Westpac brand - you'll need to be a people person through and through, someone who thrives on building great relationships from the very first conversation – and maintaining that quality.

• Proven experience working in a customer-facing organisation, particularly in lending.
• Solid people skills to make customers feel confident and well-supported.
• Consistently exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
• Strong business development skills and the ability to network effectively within the community.
