Job summary

Westpac in Cairns regional invites you to join as Mobile Lending Manager, a role focused on guiding customers through home loan options, building trust, and acting as the friendly face of the branch for new and existing clients. You will work with the local market to understand goals and create paths to home ownership.

With lending experience, you’ll deliver personalised service, exceed customer expectations, and grow the bank’s presence through community networking and tailored mortgage

What's the role?

As a Mobile Lending Manager, you will assist Westpac customers with their dream of owning their own home. You'll be one of the friendly faces of our branch for both new and existing customers to meet when it's time to apply for a home loan (or even before then!).

Using your solid understanding of mortgage products and services and the local market, you'll build great relationships with our customers. Service will become second nature to you, as you meet with customers to find out what their financial needs are today - and what goals they have for tomorrow. And then match them up with the financial products that will bring them closer to making those goals a reality.

What do I need?

Experience with lending is essential for your success. Representing the Westpac brand - you'll need to be a people person through and through, someone who thrives on building great relationships from the very first conversation - and maintaining that quality.

• Proven experience working in a customer-facing organisation, particularly in lending.
• Solid people skills to make customers feel confident and well-supported.
• Consistently exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
• Strong business development skills and the ability to network effective within the community.
