Job summary

Boral is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Supervisor to lead mobile and onsite concrete batching across major projects in Queensland. You will coordinate contractors, mobilise plants and ensure safe, on-time delivery while meeting budget targets.

You will deploy practical plant solutions, supervise commissioning, train staff and uphold our safety standards as part of a national team delivering high‑quality infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contractors within construction, industrial or heavy industry.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Experience operating or mobilising mobile concrete batching plants.
• Knowledge of crane operations and transport requirements.
• Strong problem solving with a practical, solutions‑oriented approach.
• Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Design and implement onsite/mobile concrete plant solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate and manage external contractors throughout project delivery.
• Commission new mobile concrete plants and train operational staff.

• Monitor performance against budgets, KPIs and project objectives.

We're looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Supervisor to join our Major Projects team and play a key role in delivering mobile and onsite concrete plant solutions across major infrastructure and construction projects.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Mobile Concrete Plant Manager, you will be responsible for deploying and managing mobile and onsite concrete batching plants across major projects, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective operations while delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers. The role requires regular travel and working away from home to support projects across Queensland and interstate when required.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate contractors, oversee plant mobilisation and commissioning activities, drive operational excellence and champion Boral's commitment to safety and performance.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Previous experience operating, mobilising or managing mobile concrete batching plants.
• Strong understanding of concrete batching operations and plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of crane operations and transport requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Sound computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Working at Heights, Forklift, EWP or other relevant plant and equipment tickets.
