Job summary

Mader Group is actively seeking experienced Mobile Plant Mechanics to service heavy mobile mining equipment across the Hunter Valley, Gunnedah and Mudgee. Accommodation is provided across NSW locations and field service vehicles are supplied for applicable roles.

We offer flexible rosters, crew-based and field service positions, with immediate starts and ongoing opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology and NSW Certificate of Proficiency.
• Experience with heavy mobile plant and mining equipment.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile plant and mining equipment.
• Mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Breakdown repairs and troubleshooting.
• Component change-outs and general repairs.
• Machine inspections and ongoing maintenance.
• Field service work where required.

The Work

You’ll be working on heavy mobile plant and mining equipment, carrying out:

• Servicing and preventative maintenance
• Mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics

• Component change-outs and general repairs
• Machine inspections and ongoing maintenance
• Field service work, depending on the position

What You Need

• Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology (plus NSW Certificate of Proficiency)
• Experience working on heavy mobile plant
• Good mechanical and fault-finding skills
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
• Experience on Mining Plant (ideal, not mandatory)
