Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is looking for a Peripatetic Occupational Health Technician to cover nationwide travel from base in Liverpool. The role involves health surveillance, biometric screening and documentation for clinicians, with a supportive team and ongoing professional development.

You will travel regularly across the UK, undertake audiometry and lung function tests, and ensure all equipment remains fit for purpose.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GDPR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management.
• Experience as Healthcare Support Worker or similar role.
• Graduate in Sports Science with baseline measurements experience welcome.
• Valid manual UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and stay overnight when required.
• Ability to deliver health promotion and health surveillance services efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health surveillance screenings, including audiometry, lung function tests and baseline measurements.
• Accurately document medical information and pass to clinical staff.
• Maintain and ensure equipment is clean and functioning.
• Promote health and wellbeing activities and assist with additional tasks.
• Support the occupational health team with essential information for clinical decisions.
• Provide biometric data through screening procedures to aid decisions.
