Job summary
Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd. invites applications for an experienced Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our team in Toowoomba.
You will operate our mobile hose van to deliver hydraulic hose manufacturing, assembly, installation and customer support services, ensuring safety and efficiency on customer sites. This permanent role is Monday to Friday, focused on repairing and replacing hydraulic hose assemblies, liaising with customers, and upholding Caterpillar specifications and quality
Qualifications
- Trade qualifications in a mechanical or technical field with hydraulic hose assembly experience highly desirable.
- Current MR Driver's Licence is essential.
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to liaise with customers to meet hose and parts requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers to meet hose and parts requirements.
- Manufacture and assemble hydraulic hose to Caterpillar specs.
- Safely remove and install hose assemblies on equipment.
- Process requests and purchase orders for breakdowns and maintenance.
- Attend on-call breakdowns as required.
- Maintain hose van readiness and report defects.
- Ensure adherence to contamination control procedures.
- Complete timecards, quotations, and invoicing accurately.
- Build strong relationships with customers and teammates.
