Job summary

United Forklift And Access Solutions is seeking a Technician – Road Service at our Sydney branch to deliver on-site service and repair support across forklift and lifting equipment. The role requires hands-on mechanical work, attention to detail, and the ability to travel to customer sites.

You'll enjoy 5 weeks of leave, a flexible 9-day fortnight option, overtime earnings, a service app and tablet, and access to our rewards program.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Automotive, Mobile Plant Mechanic, or Heavy Diesel Mechanic is essential.
• Experience with heavy diesel or large-scale mobile equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain customer forklifts and lifting equipment at on-site locations.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, and diagnostic testing.
• Perform equipment overhauls and assist with new machine assembly as required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and complete repairs to standards.
• Respond to breakdowns with timely mobile service support.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
