Job summary

The Sydney EP is seeking Accredited Exercise Physiologists to join our growing mobile health team across Greater Sydney on a contractor basis. You will deliver evidence-based exercise interventions in homes, aged care facilities, workplaces, community centres, gyms, and other settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Exercise Physiology.
• ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• National Police Check.
• Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Greater Sydney.
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
• ABN and ability to work as an independent contractor.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing reviews.
• Develop individualized exercise programs based on clinical needs and goals.
• Deliver exercise physiology services in community and home-based settings.
• Support clients under Medicare, DVA, NDIS, Support At Home, WorkCover, CTP, private health, and private referral pathways.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as required.
• Complete high-quality clinical notes and reports within required timeframes.
• Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals, support coordinators, case managers, employers, and other stakeholders.
• Promote safe exercise participation and client self-management strategies.
• Maintain professional standards in accordance with ESSA guidelines and legislation.
