Job summary

TikTok in Sydney is seeking a Graduate Machine Learning Engineer to join the Trust & Safety initiative. You will work on building scalable classifiers and ML models to help safeguard the global community.

Ideal candidates are completing or recently finished a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering, with knowledge in ML, NLP, data mining or CV, and solid fundamentals in data structures and algorithms. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid knowledge in at least one of: machine learning, pattern recognition, NLP, data mining, or computer vision
• Firm understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Great communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Work with world-class engineers to build industry-leading trust and safety systems for TikTok
• Develop and build scalable classifiers, tools, models and algorithms using ML, CV and data mining technologies
• Improve trust and safety strategy and model iterations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect TikTok globally
