Job summary

TikTok's Trust & Safety team is seeking a graduate Machine Learning Engineer in Sydney to help build scalable safety systems and classifiers from day one.

You'll work with world-class engineers on ML, CV, and data mining projects, collaborate across teams, and contribute to protecting the global TikTok community. Applicants should have recently completed or be nearing completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical field (Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering)
• Solid knowledge in ML, pattern recognition, NLP, data mining or computer vision
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Work with world-class engineers to build industry-leading trust and safety systems for TikTok
• Develop and build scalable classifiers, tools, models and algorithms leveraging machine learning, computer vision and data mining technologies
• Improve trust and safety strategy and work on model iterations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect TikTok globally
