Speechling seeks an ML Data & Platform Engineer to own the infrastructure powering our speech AI models—data pipelines, training, evaluation, and production serving. You will work across data infrastructure, distributed systems, and production ML, taking ownership of problems end to end.

This role involves designing scalable pipelines, building data acquisition solutions, and optimizing infrastructure for speed and reliability in a hybrid team environment.

Formación

• Strong Python and SQL backend or data engineering foundation.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and major cloud provider.
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT at scale, incl. web scraping or data collection.
• Solid understanding of the ML lifecycle from data to training, evaluation, and serving.
• Experience with data quality practices and production-grade observability.
• Ability to design resilient, scalable architectures and operate distributed systems.
• MLOps experience (model serving, experiment tracking, GPU training optimisation).
• Self-starter who identifies problems and drives fixes without detailed direction.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, validating, and storing large datasets for training.
• Develop data acquisition and scraping solutions to keep datasets fresh and high quality.
• Build and operate infrastructure to deploy and evaluate models in production and serve them efficiently.
• Optimize infrastructure for iteration speed and production reliability, incl. GPU utilization and scheduling.
• Implement observability across data pipelines and ML systems to catch issues early.
