Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd, a Canberra-based recruitment and services company, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to design and operate AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work on Terraform/CDK/CloudFormation-based infrastructure, container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), and support MLOps/LLMOps for production AI solutions.

The role requires current NV1 clearance and a 12-month contract with hybrid work arrangement, commencing mid-December 2026, across multiple

Qualifications

• Design, deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure with IaC.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and security scanning.
• Containerised apps using Docker, Kubernetes and EKS; focus on reliability.
• Support MLOps/LLMOps and AI model deployment in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure via IaC (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.
• Deploy and operate containerised apps using Docker, Kubernetes and EKS.
• Support MLOps/LLMOps including AI model deployment and monitoring.
