Job summary

The Assistant Director, Governance and Accreditation (Procurement ACT) in Canberra is a full-time temporary role with potential permanency. You will lead governance programs, support the Government Procurement Board, and administer the Goods and Services Accreditation Program, advising ACT Government staff and leaders on governance and accreditation matters.

We value governance/secretariat experience and liaison across policy, law and procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance and/or secretariat programs of work.
• Desirable background in public policy/legal/digital communications.
• Ability to liaise with ACT Government staff and leaders on governance and procurement matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide secretariat support to governance bodies and boards.
• Administer the Goods and Services Accreditation Program including reviewing applications and recommendations.
• Advise ACT Government staff and leaders on governance and procurement accreditation.
