Job summary

Metro Mining Limited is seeking a Warehouse Officer to manage unloading, stock control, and ERP administration at the Bauxite Hills Mine site on a FIFO 15:13 roster. You will coordinate barge unloads, maintain clean, safe warehousing areas, and support inventory reporting in Pronto and Redmap.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years warehousing experience, mining exposure, and a proactive, organised approach to fast-paced operations with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' warehousing experience, preferably in mining/marine.
• Experience with Pronto or similar ERP systems.
• Highly organised and able to multitask within tight timeframes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• C Class Driving Licence and Forklift Licence; First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unloading of barges arriving at site and record/stock goods.
• Move goods around site; prepare and attach required paperwork.
• Perform daily fuel dips and document results.
• Administer Smartfill system and FOBs at site.
• Complete daily goods issue sheets and other requests.
• Maintain clean, organised warehouse areas and office.
• Code, release, and receipting of purchase orders accurately.
• Monitor sourcing emails, raise POs, and manage inventory vs non-inventory purchases.
• Run expediting reports in Redmap and follow up discrepancies.
• Run re-order reports in Pronto and support admin tasks in Pronto/Redmap.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable; provide information as needed.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with stocktakes.
• Complete timesheets, checklists, and daily running sheets.
