Job summary

Glencore invites applications for a Storeperson at Mount Isa Mines, Mount Isa, Queensland. This residential role supports safe and efficient movement of materials, reporting to the Supervisor – Supply, with day-to-day warehouse tasks and inventory control on a 5/2 roster.

You will manage inbound/outbound materials, operate ERP systems, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety standards and site procedures. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Sound numeracy, literacy and attention to detail to ensure accuracy of inventory and documentation.
• Willingness to coordinate with internal stakeholders, transport providers and contractors.
• Commitment to working safely and following site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing day-to-day warehouse and inventory management activities in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.
• Receiving, checking and recording inbound materials, including verification against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Picking, issuing and dispatching materials accurately to meet operational requirements.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records through approved systems (e.g. ERP/inventory management systems).
• Conducting stock counts, cycle counts and assisting with stocktakes as required.
• Operating forklift, light vehicles and other approved equipment in accordance with licences, procedures and risk assessments.
• Ensuring materials are stored, handled and transported safely to prevent damage, loss or incidents.
• Identifying and escalating inventory discrepancies, damaged goods or safety hazards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment.
• Engaging professionally with internal stakeholders, transport providers and contractors.
