Job summary

Redpath Mining is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stores Person to support the Shaft Sinking Project at Appin. The role requires experience in mining stores, a valid LF forklift licence, and the ability to commute daily from Menangle, Campbelltown or Wollongong.

You will receive, store and distribute materials, maintain inventory records, and work with maintenance, operations and procurement teams to keep the project running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mining or heavy-industry stores/warehouse environment.
• Forklift licence (LF) essential.
• Proficient with inventory systems and basic computer skills.
• Able to work independently and in a small team.
• Must reside in Menangle, Campbelltown or Wollongong and commute to site daily (no FIFO/DIDO).

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Pick, pack, and issue parts and consumables to site personnel.
• Operate forklifts and materials-handling equipment safely.
• Keep warehouse and laydown areas organised and compliant.
• Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams as required.
