Job summary

Sandvik Rock Processing Australia is seeking a technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to grow our Screening Media portfolio across Western Australia. You will engage directly with mining and quarrying operations, identify opportunities, and deliver performance-focused screening media solutions.

The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen, from site assessment and solution development to implementation, trial management, and ongoing customer support.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in metallurgy, chemical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in mineral processing, screening applications, technical sales, application engineering, or customer-facing technical support.
• Strong understanding of vibrating screens, screening media, wear mechanisms, and screening performance.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, influence stakeholders, and deliver value-based technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and CRM systems.
• Current C-Class Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvement opportunities with mining and quarrying operations and develop tailored screening media solutions.
• Deliver measurable performance outcomes from site assessment through to implementation and ongoing customer support.
• Take ownership of opportunities from initial assessment to trial management and execution.
