Zusammenfassung

Stantec's Mining, Minerals and Metals Practice is seeking a Project Engineer to join an established team of industry leaders within our Canadian team. You’ll lead engineering studies, detailed design and construction support for heavy industry mining projects and coordinate with clients across disciplines.

The role requires a degree in mining-related field and at least 5 years of experience in surface or underground mining, with travel to client sites and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of engineering, design, and construction experience in heavy industry, particularly surface or underground mining.
• Experience as Project Engineer on engineering studies, detailed engineering and construction projects.

Aufgaben

• Work in compliance with Health and Safety rules and regulations for Stantec and its Clients.
• Review drawings for safety and constructability concerns prior to issue to clients.
• Provide engineering support to meet client needs and incorporate client suggestions.
• Act as the key link between the technical execution team and project management.
• Manage and direct a team of engineers and designers in planning and execution of project work.
