Job summary

Randstad is recruiting for a Plumber to join a permanent operation in Mount Isa, Queensland. The role involves installation, maintenance and repair of plant plumbing in a mining environment, with 12-hour shifts and relocation to central Queensland.

Eligible candidates should have a current QLD Plumber Licence and White Card, plus strong fault-finding skills. Relocation costs are covered, with a sign-on bonus of $10,000, transit accommodation for 12 weeks, and a mentorship program available on

Qualifications

• Current QLD Plumber Licence (White Card)
• Proven experience in commercial/industrial plumbing
• Good communication and teamwork
• Valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and equipment in accordance with Australian standards.
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Complete job documentation and reports as required.
• Changing out water filters in mining area.
• Check and repair RO units at the above locations.
• Repair water leaks, taps, grease traps etc.
