Job summary

BUMA Australia is seeking a dedicated Minor Plant Fitter to join our Goonyella maintenance team. You will work in both the field and workshop, performing repair, modification and refurbishment of surface mining equipment.

Responsibilities include servicing light and heavy vehicles, ordering parts, and collaborating with Maintenance Planners. You will participate in safety training and adhere to company standards at Goonyella, Moranbah, QLD.

Qualifications

• Tickets for working at heights and confined spaces (or willingness to obtain).
• Familiar with OEM software and SAP (desirable).
• Strong planning and scheduling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on light, medium vehicles and mining equipment.
• Conduct repairs and servicing per manufacturer specs.
• Scope jobs, order parts, coordinate with Maintenance Planners.
• Complete pre-start checks on vehicles prior to operation.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, engine and hydraulic systems.
