Job summary

29Metals Limited is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. The role reports to the Mechanical Supervisor and runs on a 2:2 roster (day and night), with a focus on maintaining surface and underground equipment.

You will assist in installation, commissioning and modification of mechanical systems, repair conveyors, crushers, pumps and hydraulic components, troubleshoot downtime and support safety initiatives; accurate record keeping is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with fixed plant processing equipment in mining.
• Proficient with conveyors, crushers, pumps, valves and hydraulic systems.
• Familiar with maintenance management systems and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, commissioning and modification of mechanical systems.
• Maintain and repair surface and underground equipment.
• Troubleshoot to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with standards and support safety initiatives.
• Record inspections, work orders and inventory accurately.
