Job summary

Glencore Australia’s Mount Isa Mines is seeking a trade-qualified Electrician to join the Electrical Maintenance team. The role covers grinding, flotation circuits, and associated electrical infrastructure across copper and zinc processing areas, with focus on inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs.

You’ll hold a Queensland Electrical Licence, driver’s licence, and preferably instrumentation qualifications.

Qualifications

• Australian manual driver’s licence is required.
• Queensland electrical licence or equivalent trades qualification.
• Instrumentation qualification is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and instrumentation inspections.
• Preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Installations of electrical components across copper and zinc areas.
• Develop to cover breakdown shift requirements.
