Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Customer Support team in Kalgoorlie. The role involves maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Komatsu equipment at customer sites across the region, with a focus on safety and customer service.

FIFO roster and Sunrise Dam location reflect the assignment, with Perth residents eligible for consideration. The ideal candidate holds a plant mechanic or heavy diesel qualification, has experience with mobile mining or heavy

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent heavy diesel qualification is required.
• Experience servicing mobile mining, construction or heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Commitment to safety in a field service environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance and component replacements.
• Conduct testing and adjustments on machine operating and monitoring systems.
• Complete accurate service documentation and technical reports.
• Coordinate and support site-based maintenance activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
