AngloGold Ashanti Australia invites an experienced Production Engineer to join the Underground team at Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. The role supports short-term scheduling, reports to Senior Specialist Production Engineering, and operates on an 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.

You will coordinate production activities, design drills, and collaborate with drill and blast crews to meet targets while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in drill & blast design, including monitoring drill & blast performance, preferably in a Mining Alliance environment.
• 2+ years of underground mining experience.
• Competent in at least one General Mining Package (eg Deswik, Vulcan, Datamine), with Deswik Proficiency desired
• A good understanding of an underground mining operation and all aspects of stope design
• Inclusive Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams
• Effective time management, decision making and report writing
• Existing Permanent working rights in Australia.
