Job summary

CoreStaff is recruiting for experienced Dewatering Technicians for a six-month FIFO assignment from Perth to a manganese operation in Western Australia. You will install, operate and maintain dewatering equipment to keep water levels safe and the site running efficiently.

Ideal candidates have mine dewatering experience, strong mechanical aptitude and a solid commitment to safety. This role is on-site with a 7:7 roster and ongoing support from CoreStaff.

Qualifications

• Experience in mine dewatering or pumping and water management.
• Knowledge of pumps, pipelines and hoses.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
• Able to work outdoors in hot conditions.
• Commitment to safety and site procedures.
• Reliable, team-focused approach.
• Available for six-month FIFO roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor dewatering pumps and equipment.
• Assist with installation, relocation and removal of pumps and pipelines.
• Conduct routine inspections for leaks and faults.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and assist with maintenance.
• Monitor water levels and pump performance, keep records.
• Coordinate with mining and maintenance teams for dewatering needs.
• Follow site procedures and maintain a safe, tidy workspace.
