Job summary

Peabody Energy Corporation is seeking Multi Skilled Production Operators for Wilpinjong Mine in New South Wales. The roles require extensive experience operating two or more of graders, loaders, dozers and large excavators, with a strong safety focus and teamwork mindset.

The positions report to the Senior Supervisor and aim to achieve production and cost targets. The lifestyle roster offers straight day and night shifts, with a residential setup in the Mudgee region.

Qualifications

Multi Skilled Operators

Our Wilpinjong Mine is an open-cut coal mining operation located in the western coalfields of New South Wales, approximately 40–50 kilometres northeast of Mudgee, near the village of Wollar. Wilpinjong produces high-quality thermal coal for domestic and export energy markets and is one of Peabody’s most productive, lowest-cost operations.

About the role:

As a result of continued growth, we are currently seeking high-calibre Multi Skilled Production Operators who have extensive experience operating at least 2 of the following: graders, loaders, dozers, large excavators We are seeking outstanding individuals with a strong focus on safety and the relevant experience and leadership capability to join the Peabody team.

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, these positions are responsible for operating heavy mining equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve realistic production and cost targets.

We're looking for safety-focused, motivated Multi-Skilled Operators ready to join a high-performing operation where their contribution truly matters.

Our mine uses the below mechanical equipment to mine:

• Trucks: CAT 789, CAT793
• Graders: CAT 16M/H, 24M
• Dozers: CAT D10 and D11T/R
• Excavators: Liebherr 9250, 9350, 9400 and Hitachi 5500

About You:

• Strong commitment to safety as a way of life
• Extensive experience operating graders, loaders, dozers, large Ability to meet and exceed set targets
• Open-cut Coal mining experience
• An effective team player
